Far Out! Ann Arbor in the 60s from JFK to Earth Day

Students in the Fall 2023 iteration of History 294, “Public History: An Introduction,” created a historical campus walking tour for their class project. Far Out! focused on the history of tumultuous decade of the 1960s on campus. The hour-long tour includes stops at nine different historical campus sites. Students led a public version of the tour on December 5, 2023, and created a digital version which is available on Clio.
