This HistoryLab explores the two centuries of history and legacy of Asians, Asian-Americans, and the Pacific-Islanders in the state of Michigan, especially at the University of Michigan. Students in Professor Hitomi Tonomura’s Winter 2019 History 393 course examined the rich archival material kept at the Bentley Historical Library expanded their inquiry to organizations and people who reside in Michigan today.
