About Ann Arbor Art+Feminism
The Ann Arbor Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon is a communal updating event of Wikipedia entries on subjects related to gender, art and feminism. We provide tutorials for the beginner Wikipedian, reference materials, and refreshments. In partnership with the U-M Library and LSA Technology Services.
Art+Feminism kicked off the 2024 campaign Solidarity! Solidarity. Solidarity?: We’re (not) all in this together! where we call for a deeper reflection of what solidarity means and what it looks like in practice and action. We invite you to learn with us as we unpack “solidarity” and how we can transform banner statements into action.
Easy ways to get started in Wikipedia
- Orphaned Articles:
“an article with no links from other pages in the main article namespace” - Citation Problems
- More citations needed
- Biography of a living person needs more citations
- Article relies too much on primary sources
- Notability on Wikipedia
Please help to establish notability by citing reliable secondary sources that are independent of the topic and provide significant coverage of it beyond a mere trivial mention. - Pages needing photos
Add photos to Wikipedia articles lacking images
